What we do
Three things, done consistently
The society is deliberately small in scope. It meets, it records what was said, and it keeps what is useful where members can find it again.
A standing monthly meeting
Sixty minutes, virtual. Every session opens with one recent small win and one current challenge, includes a three-minute practical AI tip, and closes by choosing the next topic.
A written record
Each meeting produces notes, selected topics, and action items — archived and searchable, so a member who missed a session is not left out of the thread.
A working directory
Members are findable by specialty, institution, and research interest. The directory exists so that a question meets the person most likely to have already answered it.
Focus areas
The problems the society works on
Chosen by the founding members at the inaugural meeting, and revisited as the group grows.
Referrals and clinical niche
Building referral relationships, growing case volume, and developing a defensible area of focus.
Research and protected time
Starting a program, finding collaborators, securing funding, and protecting the time to use it.
Promotion
Criteria, documentation, visibility, and the slow work of building a national reputation.
Workload and competing priorities
Balancing clinical work, research, teaching, administration, and life outside the hospital.
Non-promotable work
What to accept, decline, delegate, or reshape so that necessary work actually counts.

Membership is open and free.
If you finished training within the last 7 years and hold an academic appointment, register with your institutional address and you are in.
